31st SEA Games Mobile Legends Esports Event: Schedule, Format, Teams, Where to Watch

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports event for the 31st Southeast Asia (SEA) Games will soon commence on 18th May starting with the Group Stage. The group distributions for each participating region have also been finalized with four teams in Group A and three teams in Group B. The participating regions for the MLBB esports division namely, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, and Myanmar will be competing for the prestigious gold medal. The 31st SEA Games is a biannual event that features competitions for both traditional sports and esports titles to determine which is the strongest region in South East Asia.

Tournament Format and Schedule

The teams of the seven participating countries were divided into two groups. However, the official match format for the 31st SEA Games is yet to be revealed.

  • Group Stage – 18th – 19th May

  • Grand Finals – 20th May

Participating Teams

The participants are required to use their surname or first name during matches. This means, all participants will be named according to their real names and not their in-game nicknames.
