A Blessing In Disguise will come to Steam in 2021

When it comes to the world of video games, there are many examples of cult classics that have stood the test of time. From 2010 Deadly Premonition is one of them, famous for its low-budget presentation and notoriously stiff animations. However, that hasn’t stopped the game from growing into a large number of invested followers. For the community, a sequel made sense. However, Deadly Premonition 2 It was released exclusively on Nintendo Switch to everyone’s surprise. Performance was terrible at best, with low frame rates and other issues haunting the game. Thankfully, Deadly Premonition 2 is coming to Steam in 2021.

This revelation comes via Gematsu, which uncovered the 2020 annual report from the Thunderful Group, the parent company of publisher Rising Star Games. The annual report indicated that developer Toybox will bring the game to PC via Steam this year.

Will this signal the end of choppy frame rates and low resolution for Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise? The hope is yes, although the trajectory of the first game leaves some room for caution.

With Deadly Premonition 2 Coming to Steam this year, perhaps the development team has learned some lessons in creating PC games.

It can be argued that the series has exhausted its welcome from the poor presentation that made it a success in the first place. It remains to be seen how the Steam version of Deadly Premonition 2 will perform. The game does not have a release date yet.

On the other hand, fans can look forward to creator Swery’s version. The good life to enjoy also in 2021.
