Call of Duty: Mobile Season 9 To Launch Later This Week



Call of Duty: Mobile Season 9 is set to launch on August 16 as announced by the developers. The season will be called “Conquest”. Season 9 has a ton of cool changes and updates, so we’re breaking it down for you guys.

Series ranked 6

Ranks will be reset in Season 9 and this will mark the start of Ranked Series 6. This will give all players a chance to recalibrate their ranks and aim for a fresh start.

New feature – Gunsmith

One of the coolest features of Season 9 is a feature called Gunsmith. This will allow for increased customization of almost any part of a weapon. The number of loadouts will also be increased from five to ten to allow players more options for experimenting in the games. With the arrival of Gunsmith, all pistols and primary weapons will have the following customizable attachments:

  • Optical
  • Laser
  • Muzzle
  • Barrel
  • Under the barrel
  • Ammunition
  • Rear handle
  • Stock
  • Advantage

Each weapon will have these nine customizable slots and at a time 5 slots can be used. These accessories will change the performance, handling and aesthetics of the weapon. Attachments can be unlocked by upgrading the weapon while some attachments can be found pre-attached. Not all attachments will have positive points, as most of them will have negative attributes associated with them.

Cosmetic-only features such as charm, stickers, and reticles will also be customizable through the gunsmith.

New weapon – Kilo Bolt Action

A new weapon being introduced as part of the Season 9 Battle Pass. This will be the first Marksman rifle to be introduced to the game and will be called the Kilo-Bolt action.

New locations in Battle Royale

Battle Royale mode is also getting an update with 4 new locations added to the map. The locations are the campgrounds, dormitories, outposts and the radar base.

10 v 10 mode

Another new addition to the game will be the introduction of the 10v10 game mode. This mode will not be ranked but is expected to be one of the more relaxed, raced, and armed chaotic styles of action.

New Perk – Shield Turret

Another new feature that has been teased is the introduction of a new perk called Turret Shield. This will allow players to place a manually usable turret with a shield on the map. This turret can then be used by the player to take down enemies. While the turret doesn’t make you totally invulnerable, the shield will add an extra layer of protection to help you win those shootouts.
