Check Out The First Gameplay Trailer For Dinosaur Survival Horror Game Deathground

Everyone loves dinosaurs. The people of the UK-based Jaw Drop Games certainly do. That’s why they start Deathground, a survival horror that challenges up to four players to recover precious loot from dinosaur-infested lands. There are games that present dinosaurs against human action, but in the spirit of true horror of survival, these dinosaurs are entirely driven by AI.

Taking a huge piece of inspiration from jurassic park (which is a big plus, if we’re honest), Deathground is to be sneaky and undetected After all, you are not going to survive a fight with a dinosaur. We have all seen humans face dinosaurs in many movies and TV shows. How does it usually work?

If you didn’t believe that jurassic park has been a major influence on Deathground, you probably do after watching the trailer. The Velociraptors and the T-Rex are arguably the stars of the movie franchise, and they’re in full screen here in the first gameplay trailer.

It seems undeniably scary and incredibly tense. What really makes it work is the feeling of familiarity that players wouldn’t get if it weren’t so faithfully modeled on pop culture. Most of us know that the dinosaurs portrayed in movies and television can be quite far from reality. On top of that, we have learned a lot over the past few decades, things that have overturned common theories and beliefs.

For example, we now know that the velociraptors were probably much smaller than previously thought and that they were probably brightly colored and had feathers. The people at Jaw Drop Games, however, have wisely stuck to the dinosaurs we know and love. Thanks to this, when you see that the T-Rex is trampling away, you know exactly what will happen if it catches the wind. And it’s not going to be pretty.

The developers are looking to raise $ 100,558. They have already raised $ 71,531 and they have 21 days left. All things considered, it seems that it will sail beyond its objective. Being a “project we love” featured on Kickstarter certainly doesn’t hurt his chances.

If you want to get in on the action, you can buy a copy for less than $ 20, but this price is only available for the next few days. Keep in mind that the game will not be released until September 2021, a year from now.

It’s no Dino Crisis remaster, but it looks pretty sweet, so it will have to fit the bill.
