Chivalry 2 Open Beta Begins Next Week



Tom Banner Studios, the developers of Chivalry 2 and Tripwire, publishers have announced an open beta for the game soon. The first-person multiplayer game inspired by medieval combat launches on May 27 and ends on June 1.

The open beta will also feature cross-play, as mentioned above, which means PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One, Series X, and S can play together. Chivalry 2 is the sequel to Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, which was originally released for PC on October 16, 2012. It was later released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 a few years later.

Scheduled to begin on May 27, 2021 at 11:00 am (EDT) and end on June 1 at 11:00 am (EDT), the Cavalry 2 Cross-Play Open Beta will be available for free to all gamers on PC (via the Epic Games Store), PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5 computer entertainment systems, Xbox One family of devices, and Xbox console systems. X Series | S. The Cavalry 2 The Cross-Play Open Beta client is also scheduled to be available for pre-download on all platforms one day prior to May 26, 2021 at 11:00 am (EDT). The Cross-Play Open Beta will be the final playable test for Cavalry 2 ahead of its global release date of June 8, 2021.


The open beta can be preloaded on PC and consoles on May 26 at 8 a.m. M. PDT / / 11 a. M. EDT. The open beta will be free for anyone to play, however Xbox players will need an Xbox Live Gold subscription to participate, while PlayStation players can play freely.

Tournament grounds (Team Deathmatch / FFA Map) – Elite warriors of the Mason Order and Agathian Knights fight for supremacy and the worship of the crowd.

Free for all (New for Open Beta): It’s you against everyone else in this chaotic free-for-all game mode first appearing in Cross-Play Open Beta.

Full customization (New for Open Beta): Customize your appearance in the game and unlock a wide variety of cosmetic options as you gain experience with each of the four basic classes and 12 subclasses in the game.

Duel servers (New for Open Beta) – Available for PC only, players can choose to enter special servers set up for players looking to hone their 1v1 dueling skills with other players. Participants are asked to respect the honor system and respect players who intend to focus on one-on-one duels.

64/40 player server options (New for Open Beta) – Experience the chaos of epic medieval battlefields, advance to the front lines of battle, and experience true full-scale combat that supports up to 64 players designed to capture the intensity and scope of “La battle of the bastards “.
