ESO reveal event for Gates of Oblivion delayed by Inauguration Day



As part of The Game Awards 2020, Bethesda’s MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online gave us a sneak peek of what’s to come in the new year. The one year adventure called Gates of oblivion It will involve players and a particularly angry Daedric prince named Mehrunes Dagon. Suffice it to say, there will be plenty of missions, adventures and battles awaiting in 2021. While fans are unsurprisingly looking forward to learning more about the new content, the wait is now a long time. Originally scheduled for a global reveal on January 21, the Gates of oblivion The reveal has now been delayed until January 26.

Both ZeniMax Media and Bethesda have good reasons for doing so. With Opening Day in the United States on January 20, the team doesn’t expect their announcement to be overlooked in light of real-world events.

The game’s official Twitter account too explained the delay more. Bethesda mentioned that many of its employees work and live near the capital, so playing it safe seems like a more prudent option. Congratulations on thinking about the employees.

the Gates of oblivion The reveal will take place at 5 p.m. ET on January 26. Players can watch it live on Bethesda’s Twitch channel. As for what to expect, there’s a preview of the original teaser below. Ancient documents OnlineCreative Director Rich Lambert will be available to share more. Other members of the development team will also be joining the issue.

The hosts will talk about the new systems coming to the game, the adventures and even the worlds that you will see as part of the 2021 content. As a bonus, those who watch the reveal event will get a free dragon frog pet. Just make sure you’ve linked your Bethesda account to the Twitch service
