Fairy Tail: How to Raise Ties of Character
Character ties in Fairy tale They are directly linked to how often you use characters to form teams. Basically, the more Natsu, Lucy, Erza and Wendy have fun together to complete a guild request, the faster they can increase their ties. You will see your bonus levels in the team -> Status -> Bonus Range Panel (shown below):
Suppose you have actually been using specific characters when you search and your character ties may increase (i.e. by looking at the musical notes), what do you do then? Well just look at your map. Chances are good that you’ll see a music note icon in town.
When you get there, you will see one of your teammates and possibly a musical note or portrait of another teammate floating above his head:
This implies that ties can be increased with that person. When talking to this partner, a brief scene is triggered followed by the introduction of both peeps.
What exactly do character ties do?
The essence is that the character is united in Fairy tale affects your magic chains (also known as combined attacks during battles):
- Level 1: Increase the speed of the magic chain.
- Level 2 – Reduces the MP required for Magic Chains.
- Level 3 – Provides a small chance that a magic chain will fail.
Considering that magic chains and character ties are exclusive to specific pairs, there is a good chance that you can only maximize these combos for a few selected characters (probably your main squad). Still, you’ll have the option of increasing character ties faster (without the need to team up too often). However, this method comes a little later in Fairy tale and will also require jewelry (gold).
Fairy tale is available on Steam. For more information, see our guides and feature center.
