Final Fantasy VII Remake Coming To PlayStation 5



Final Fantasy VII Remake is coming to the PlayStation 5 with improved graphics, faster load times and new features such as a photo mode, developer-publisher Square Enix announced today during the latest State of Play livestream of Sony. The game is slated for re-release on June 10 under the new name of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade.

While the port comes with the standard upgrades people have come to expect, like updated textures, fog, and lighting effects, a few quality of life improvements to note are the inclusion of weather loading speeds, the ability to choose between a graphics mode (which displays at 4K resolution) or performance mode (operating at 60 frames per second), and a new difficulty mode Normal (Classic), which allows the player to attack and defend automatically. Previously, this style of play was only available for the Easy difficulty of the game. Finally, Square Enix has revealed that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will feature a photo mode, although it is not clear if this is exclusive to the version. PlayStation 5 game.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will be available as a free upgrade on PlayStation 5 to anyone who has previously purchased the game on PlayStation 4.
