Fortnite And DC Collide Again For New Crossover Comic Series

Fortnite and DC Comics have crossed paths in the past, notably giving players a chance to live out those fantasies of becoming key icons like the Joker, Cat Woman, and Batman himself, but now the two universes will come together for a new adventure: new series of comics. The latest Fortnite x DC crossover is a new Batman comic book series that will feature the battle royale title in a whole different way.

While a crossover in and of itself isn’t at all surprising (seriously, the mashup list is almost too long to count at this point), the fact that it’s via a new comic book series is a bit unexpected. The new comic book series is called Batman / Fortnite: Zero Point and will feature six issues for a new storyline that centers around yet another tear in reality.

A new rift tears the skies over Gotham in the new miniseries and knocks down Batman’s dead center in an unknown world. Batman has taken over the game, now he’s invading the entire universe, as he tries to escape an endless loop of absurd chaos while encountering other characters from the Fortnite verse like Renegade Raider, Fishstick, and more.

“When DC first approached me to do a Batman / Fortnite series, I thought it would be a lot of fun,” said series author Christos Gage. After speaking with Donald Mustard and finding out how deep we would dive into the secrets of the world of Fortnite, I was amazed! This series will reveal things about Fortnite that have never been seen or heard before but are really part of the canon of the game.

The new comic book series will include a redeemable code for DC-specific Fortnite gear, including the Rebirth Harley Quinn outfit. For comic book lovers who get all six numbers, which means all six codes, they’ll also unlock a special Armored Batman Zero outfit and wear it when they battle this Victory Royale.

“I’m also looking forward to bringing other DC Super Heroes into the series, characters that Batman has a relationship with,” Gage continued. “It will be exciting to share with fans how these relationships will be reshaped in this new world. The artistry of Reilly, Christian, Nelson, and John is mind blowing, and my prediction is that this series will wow everyone, whether you’re a fan of DC, Batman, or Fortnite. “
