RAID Skills: Shadow Legends

Each champion has a series of skills at their disposal. The amount of skills usable in combat is tied to your rarity level. A common character has a default attack, while a rare character will have the default attack and two special attacks that come with a cooldown.

In some cases, a character may also have an Aura ability that gives him a bonus or advantage in battle. Skills are leveled in the tavern through skill tomes. These can be purchased for real money or earned after completing some challenges. The enhanced ability is randomly selected.

As with many RPGs, skills are tied to the character’s class. You have attack, support and defense, at least these are the main three that I have come across. Support characters are good to heal and revive. Leveling their skills will shorten their cooldown.

Attack class champions often have abilities that allow you to attack multiple times in a single turn or attack multiple enemies. As with any game, check your characters to see what abilities they have and test them in battle. You will likely find some champions to hold on to and push.

Manage your skill tree

Champions also have a skill tree. There are three branches to choose from and your champions can follow the path of two of them. Offensive, defensive and supportive. I admit that I don’t know much about the third option as I tend to focus on improving the offensive and defensive skills of my top champions.

These routes have a number of perks that cost more scrolls as you go. Opening these paths costs five scrolls and is awarded to random party members in the Minotaur stage of the dungeon. If there are champions you really want to work on, cultivating the Minotaur stage will be key.

That said, cultivating all stages in the Dungeon is beneficial. Not only are there scrolls to win, but you’re likely to come across a team that’s rare and more prevalent here. This means that it is possible to obtain complete sets of equipment.

Bonus: Team

The important thing to know about the equipment is that they offer benefits depending on whether you are referring to the equipment requirements. There are six gear slots, four artifact / jewelry slots. They can be leveled up, increasing stats and unlocking other stats.

To unlock the team perks, you must equip two pieces or four pieces in a set. If you only require two pieces, that allows you to rack up the same perks, pair it with a set that requires four pieces, or mix it with three per-piece per-lead perks.

I’d say play around with it and find a team setup that you can work with, but be aware that it costs to remove cash in-game. Be sure to sell equipment that you don’t need or that is too low for what you’re building.

I recommend simply selling all the common and rare equipment once you feel comfortable with the Dungeon. After all, you will get the best team rarity in the Dungeon.
