Ghost Of Tsushima: Legends brings Co-Op to Sucker Punch’s Samurai-Epic. Here’s a breakdown of the Ronin techniques Skill Tree to help guide you through the ranks of the Ronin Class.
In Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, Sucker Punch has offered players the chance to experience their Samurai Epic in a whole new way. Rather than fighting as Jin Sakai, Legends has players choosing one of four unique classes. While each class is equipped with the basics, they also have differing sets of abilities and a unique skill tree.

In this article, we’ll be talking through the Ronin Class skill tree. Below you’ll find images of each skill on the tree and an explanation of what they can do. This will help you shape your legend, Ronin.
Ronin Techniques Skill Tree
Breath Of Izanami – Rank 1 Ultimate
This Ultimate Ability makes the Ronin Class the supporting role in the group. It allows them to revive all allies, no matter their proximity. It may mean that the Ronin needs to be protected at all costs, but it’s a worthwhile adjustment when they can bring back the whole team.
Spirit Animal – Rank 1 Class Ability
The doggo! This allows the Ronin to summon a friendly dog companion for a short period of time. Aside from being able to pet them, they also help attack enemies. They can be handy in disrupting Brutes. They don’t deal a lot of damage but they open them up for attack. The cooldown is 65s, so quite a while.
Healing Incense – Rank 10 Class Ability
If you want to build a Ronin that’s more focussed on supporting others, this is the perfect choice. This Class Ability allows Ronin Class players to place a small pot of incense that heals nearby enemies for a short period. It’s perfect for keeping a fight going in a defence area if you’re on the back foot. It also only has a cooldown of 42s, which isn’t the worst.
Enhanced Ghost Weapons – Rank 2 Perk 1
This increases the damage from all Ghost Weapons by 50%. So, if Kunai and Sticky Bombs are your thing, this makes them a whole lot more effective. Ghost Weapons are vital in disrupting enemies and useful when approaching them to attack.
Weakening Burst – Rank 7 Perk 1
This may cost 1 resolve, but it can be useful when combined with Resolve Increase. It weakens enemies for a period so they deal 25% less damage and take 25% more damage. This is useful against stronger opponents, Brutes and Oni, as they would be most affected by it.
Ronin Unleashed – Rank 14 Perk 1
This decreases the Class Ability cooldown times by 15%. That means Spirit Animal will have a cooldown of 55.25s and Healing Incense will have a cooldown of 35.7s.
Staggering Imposition – Rank 3 Perk 2
Staggering Imposition is the perfect Perk to have equipped if your teamwork is on point. It increases Stagger Damage by 15%. When combined with other Stagger Damage abilities from other classes, this can expose a lot of enemies quickly.
Resolve Increase – Rank 9 Perk 2
Increase max Resolve by 1. Seems simple enough, right? If you don’t have this, but have Weakening Burst equipped… You get the idea. Weakening Burst costs 1 Resolve, but without Resolve Increase it will impact the amount of times you can use Breath of Izanami.
Quick Regen – Rank 16 Perk 2
This ability is perfect for Ronin who are quick to get in and out of fights. It increases healing received and health regen by 50%. Coupled with Healing Incense, this can make Ronin Class players tough to take down.
Soothing Breath – Rank 5 Perk 3
As if the Breath of Izanami wasn’t good enough. Soothing Breath adds a heal-over-time effect to the Ultimate Ability, lasting 8 seconds. This means you can bring your team back much stronger than before.
Fire Breath – Rank 11 Perk 3
This, rather than using healing to protect newly-revived players, uses fire to protect them. It ignites all enemies near any player revived by Breath of Izanami. Good for making a quick escape, but it does still leave them exposed.
Legendary – Rank 18 Perk 3
This allows Ronin Class players to equip an additional Legendary item. Legendary items are the rarest items in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends and are well-worth having.
Classes are a vital part of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends and hopefully this will help you make the right choices when it comes to the Ronin Class perks.
