God of War Ragnarok Looks Like It Has Been Delayed

Published

on

God of War Ragnarok was one of the biggest surprises as part of the State of Play announced by the PS5. Even more surprising that the release year would be 2021. This got a lot of people excited about the latest state of play with an update on the game.

If you’ve seen the latest version of State of Play, there were a lot of disappointed fans who didn’t get the update. Some rumors suggest that God of War Ragnarok and Horizon Forbidden West will be delayed. Although Horizon Forbidden West clarified that they are still on the right track, the game’s director, Cory Barlog, has had a different comment via Twitter.

What Cory Barlog had to say

In a tweet on February 25, the State of Play date was carried out, Cory Barlog tweeted this;

“I don’t know who needs to hear this …

(certainly not me since I’ve never heard of him)

but…

WHEN. ITS. DONE.❤️

(trust that it is the best for everyone) “

When a game developer says something like this, it feels like they’re saying they want the game to be the best it can be. Making the delay worth the wait and having played the latest God of War with a delay of a year or even more is definitely worth the wait.

When could we see God of War Ragnarok?

It seemed like the release of God of War Ragnarok in 2021 was too early. Although we do not have confirmation that the game will not arrive this year. It seems highly likely that the pandemic is causing many games to lag, and God of War Ragnarok is one of the most anticipated games.

A delay to get to this game was not a huge surprise. Although we will most likely get a lot more information on God of War Ragnarok during this year. When we see God of War Ragnarok, it’s very up in the air.
