How to Set Structures on Fire in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6

We are entering Week 4 of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 weekly missions. A common theme is back: setting things on fire!

How to set fire to structures in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6

There are many ways to set things on fire in Fortnite, especially structures. With this mission, you only need to set fire to 10 structures, which is not a laborious task at all. If you use one of the following options, you might even be able to do it in Less than 30 seconds!

NOTE: Fortnite has mentioned on its official Twitter that this mission may not be tracking properly for some people. It still works for most, but some structures are not counted when they catch fire. We will remove this note when they say the problem is fixed.

Firefly Jars are the easiest way to access fire in Battle Royale. Most likely, regardless of where you land, you will see at least one group of them floating nearby. Still, if you’re going this route, we recommend visiting Weeping Woods. There are many fireflies available there and many structures to burn as they are all made of wood.

To grab a jar of fireflies, simply walk up to a group of fireflies and press the main action button to interact with them when the option Pick up appear. Once you do this, you are ready to use them.

To launch the jar of fireflies and make it explode, first equip it in your inventory slot. Then press and hold the secondary fire button and shoot it just like you would any other object. If it hits a structure, it will burst into flames.

Bows of Primal Flame

This method takes more time, but it essentially guarantees that you will get all 10 structures at once. Firefly Flasks are easy to come by, but can hold many more Fire Arrows than Flasks. If you drop a jar of fireflies and fail, or it doesn’t set 10 structures on fire, you’ll have to find another one. With the Primal Flame Bow, you have plenty of ammo to finish the job.

To craft a Primal Flame Bow, purchase a Primal Bow and a Flask of Fireflies or a Gas Canister. Open your Inventory, select your Primal Bow and in the Crafting tab, and select Primal Flame Bow. Now you are ready to go!

There are many other ways to set fire to structures, such as blowing up gas cans or propane tanks. However, unfortunately, the Firefly Jars and Primal Flame Bow seem to be the only methods that count towards your mission.
