This is the second time that ECHO has held open tryouts with the first one being held after the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 8. The renowned super team of the MPL PH Season 9 is looking for promising players who are looking to experience the MLBB esports scene under its banner. The announcement was revealed through its official Facebook page. However, ECHO did not reveal any specific requirements needed to participate in the open tryouts.

ECHO had an amazing start in the MPL PH Season 9 regular season. However, after a massive shift in the meta in the middle of the tournament, the team struggled to keep its momentum and eventually got eliminated on the first day of the playoffs stage.
