Although PSG Talon wowed the world with their overwhelming victory over Royal Never Give Up the day before at the 2021 Mid-Season Invitational, they followed up with back-to-back losses to the same team and DWG KIA, which left them tied with MAD Lions for third. place. in the standings at 4-4 at the end of Day 4 of the Rumble stage.

As PSG gears up for their final day of play in the Rumble with matches against Pentanet, GG and Cloud9, their top laner, Su “Hanabi” Chia-Hsiang, spoke to Gamezo for a personal interview about his team’s latest results.

Below the video is the full transcript of the interview.

Go against RNG

Pedro: Hanabi, how are you today?

Hanabi: I am quite sad about the two losses today and we have to get back to our good form and try to win the next two games tomorrow.

Pedro: To begin with, I would like to talk about the RNG game. What went wrong with that game?

Hanabi: I would say Twisted Fate’s split push because it kept pushing and that influenced our execution.

Pedro: Even though you started far behind Xiaohu, how did you overcome the difference for the rest of the match?

Hanabi: So Lucian is actually a good champion to counterattack Jayce, but after Twisted Fate reached Level 6, he could roam around and support Jayce with his ultimate, so that put a lot of pressure on me.

Pedro: GALA has stood out among the ADCs as a particularly good Kai’Sa player, but the team allowed her to be chosen. What was the reason for that?

Because we were confident enough to use our competition to defeat his Kai’Sa.

Go against DWG KIA

Pedro: What did you prepare in advance for the second match against DWG?

Hanabi: Well, we were expecting your picks and bans, so everything went according to plan. But after fixing the ideal composition, we couldn’t take the victory from them because they were super strong at the time.

Pedro: What was the moment when things started to go wrong for you, if you can specify exactly?

Hanabi: I’d say after Zoe’s TP in the bottom lane and got a double kill.

Pedro: ShowMaker, at the beginning of the day, said that PSG Talon was the third best team in MSI so far. What did you think of that feeling when you first heard it?

Hanabi: I think I was just being humble about it. It’s as if he said he was too good for us or complimented us too much.

Pedro: I spoke to Humanoid today about ShowMaker’s statement and they actually disagreed, saying that they believed MAD Lions were the third best team. what do you have to say about it?

Hanabi: Since DWG KIA and RNG have already secured their places in the semi-finals, the last two places will be PSG, C9, PGG and MAD Lions, so let’s see who can advance to the next stage.

Pedro: At MSI 2018, you and Maple made it to the semi-finals with Flash Wolves. How does that race help you cope with the pressure you will face tomorrow in the Rumble stage?

Hanabi: Actually, our expectations, or my personal goals for this tournament, were semi-finals, but after the two losses today, I felt a bit bad, but we are still going to try.

Pedro: That ends all my questions. Thanks, Hanabi, for the interview. Do you have any final words to say?

Hanabi: Not really. [laughs]
