Malcolm X’s Daughter Found Dead at Home

Makilah Shabazz was one of the fruits of Malcolm X’s marriage to Betty Shabazz.

Mikalah shabazz, 56, daughter of an African-American civil rights activist Malcolm X (1925-1965), was found dead at his home. Mikalah was one of six daughters in Malcolm’s relationship with Betty Shabazz (1934-1997).

Mikalah’s death comes days after two men were acquitted in the murder case of Malcolm X, in 1965. At the moment, this is breaking news, so there does not appear to be much information about the death of Mikalah. Previously, the TMZ website reported information on Muhammad A. Aziz and Khalil Islam, two of the three men convicted of the murder of X, whose case was closed after a two-year investigation into the convictions.

Aziz was paroled in 1985 after spending 22 years behind bars, and Islam died in prison in 2009. News of Shabazz’s death has already scared conspiracy theorists on social media, but ABC 7 of New York reports that “death does not sound suspicious.”

Malikah Shabazz was reportedly found dead in her Brooklyn home today (November 22). She has been located by her daughter, but all other information on this matter is kept close to her chest for now.

Insider added that it was the six daughters of Malcolm X and Betty Shabazz who requested the first line of investigation, so that Malcolm’s death could be reconsidered, although some authorities have resisted.

His sentences were revised after his daughters called for the investigation into his murder to be reopened in light of new evidence, citing a letter on his deathbed from a former police officer who claimed New York Police and the FBI had plotted to assassinate her father, the BBC reported.
