MPL PH Season 7 – Power Rankings

MPL PH Season 7 power rankingLaus Playbook Esports, Cignal Ultra, Onic PH, Work Auster Force and Aura PH

10. Laus Playbook Esports

Despite the team’s struggle to move up the MPL qualifying ranks, the team showed promise with their top-level play to lock targets and get eliminations. However, they lack control over the map and usually struggle when behind the gold. Despite these issues, they may well make it to the Grand Final under the guidance of Coach Panda, who previously led ArkAngel Esports to win the MPL PH Season 3 Championship.

9. Cignal Ultra

Cignal Ultra won their first MPL title in Season 2 and since then the team have been largely disappointing, failing to make it into the top 3. This is probably due to their constant change of line up which makes it difficult for its members to achieve good chemistry with each other. Despite this, the team still go out of their way in every MPL PH tournament. With their new addition to the squad, Janus, the squad hope to regain their former glory in the upcoming MPL PH Season 7.

8. Onic PH

The outlook for Onic PH in MPL PH is up. They managed to secure second place in season 5 and fourth place in season 6. Unfortunately, the dynamic duo Wise and OhMyV33nus, who have been key to their success in previous seasons, have left the lineup that brought down the power of the stars in Onic PH’s line up.

However, the team has beefed up its lineup with new playmakers Hate and Kairi. These two elements just might provide the perfect synergy that Onic needs to dominate the upcoming MPL PH Season 7.

7. Work Auster Force

Work Auster Force qualified for the MPL PH Season 7 in an amazing way. The team went undefeated in the Main Qualifier MPL PH Season 7, decimating their opponents. Work Auster Force is running out of blood and looking to prove that they can stand alongside the biggest names in the Mobile Legends PH esports scene.

Other teams in the league will certainly have their eyes on Work Auster Force.

6. Aura PH

Aura claimed a championship victory in MPL PH Season 5. However, they have followed a downward trend since then. With their new addition to the squad, Bennyqt and Lord Hadess, the squad hope to reclaim the MPL title once and for all.

The team is known to be innovative in its strategies. Being one of the pioneers of Bren Esports’ biggest weakness, the Diggie Strategy, it would be interesting to see what kind of surprise they have prepared for their fans at the next tournament.

5. Execration

Hate has become a staple of the MPL PH scene, securing third place in the previous season 6 of MPL PH. They have strengthened their alignment with their new recruits, Kiel and Renzio, former players of Aura PH. It will be interesting to see if Execration faces any startup issues with their new roster or if Kiel and Renzio’s incredible chemistry will help the team take it to the next level.

4. International Blacklist

The inclusion of Blacklist International at this top of the list will come as a surprise to many, as the team’s performance in MPL PH has not been so good. Since season 4, the team has failed to reach the top 5 in the MPL PH standings.

However, with the new addition of power duo, Wise and OhMyV33nus, Blacklist International is stronger than ever. The team recently claimed a victory in the Just ML Cup 2020 against Nexplay Solid in the grand final. With Wise’s versatile playstyle and OhMyV33nus’ incredible supportive tactics, we expect to see some of Blacklist’s best performances in the upcoming MPL PH Season 7.

3. Nexplay Esports

Nexplay Esports, the local favorites are back and they are stronger than before. Despite the team’s difficult performances in the previous season, the team has improved considerably with many good performances in local tournaments such as the Just ML Cup where they took second place. With H2wo and Renejay in their lineup, the team are more than ready to show off their skills in the upcoming MPL PH Season 7.

2. Smart Omega

One of PH’s top ML teams, Smart Omega showed their confidence in the roster by not changing their team’s roster for the MPL PH Season 7. The squad showed their potential after dominating Todak and Impunity KH in the group stage of the M2 world championship. .

With pristine tactical play coupled with the abilities of their players who can take them up a notch in clutch situations, the team is more than ready to take on the biggest names in the Mobile Legends PH esports scene, and can – to dethrone Bren Esports as the Kings of the Filipino Mobile Legends scene.

1. Bren Esports

Bren Esports is hands down one of the best, if not the best teams in Mobile Legends history. They topped the Mobile Legends scene with wins in the M2 World Championship and the MPL PH Season 6 highlighting their credentials. Bren Esports’ command of the metagame is second to none.

Their style is simple, but extremely deadly: they win their lanes, then they use that advantage to systematically dominate the map and dismantle their opponent’s defenses. Plus, they consistently force opponents to play the game as Bren Esports wishes – any attempt to deviate from Bren Esports style is quickly and forcefully ruled out.

Considering their consistently excellent play over the past few months and their recent triumph in the M2 World Championship, they should be considered no less than the favorites to take the win in the MPL PH Season 7.
