Noble Esports Announces India’s First Wild Rift Roster



North American esports organisation Noble Esports put out an Instagram post teasing a move to League of Legends: Wild Rift in India. The post reads, ‘League of Legends: Wild Rift will be our next move in India. We won’t spoil our surprise yet, but here is a teaser to who we are signing as the captain of our team’. The photos include a mystery player watching the League of Legends World Championship and Filipino YouTuber ShinmenTakezo streaming Wild Rift. 

The mystery player appears to be Kirk ‘CaptKirk’ Stephen. CaptKirk has played League of Legends PC professionally for Team Ruthless and Entity Gaming. Now he seems to have switched to the mobile version of the game. This article will be updated with more information confirming CaptKirk’s involvement and identities of the other players of the Wild Rift roster as and when they are released. 

Noble Esports And Recent Expansion In India

Noble Esports is a North American esports organization that was founded in 2014. This organisation has been active in a variety of games over the course of time. The organization had rosters for CS:GO, Gears of War, Halo, League of Legends, Smite, World of Tanks, Dota 2, and Heroes Of The Storm. As of now, they have active rosters for Rocket League, Valorant and PUBG Mobile.

In August 2020, Noble Esports ventured into the mobile esports industry by acquiring an Indian PUBG Mobile roster. The organisation also announced a Valorant roster in September. The team is made up of ex-CS: Go pro players Rex, Psy, hikka, t1to and Harsh.

Noble also signed on SPower who became one of the youngest professional gamers to be signed by an International organisation. SPower was previously signed with 8Bit and Initiative Esports, and now he will be joining Noble as a content creator at the age of 12

Spower currently has 67.6K subscribers on YouTube and after the PUBG ban in India is now playing Valorant. Noble also added Anshuman Dash (roninplays69) as their Head of Operations for the South Asia region.
