This Game Claims To Be The Medieval Grand Theft Auto

Published

Rustler is a game set to release next month that aims to be a tribute to the older Grand Theft Auto titles that featured a top-down camera. It’s set in a “historically inaccurate” medieval setting where you play as The Guy as you complete twisted missions and quests.

Take part in brawls, commit horse theft, complete quests, hire a bard to be your human radio, and even pimp out your horse. It’s all ridiculous and amazing.

“Become a medieval thug in a crazy open-world action game, full of pop-culture references. Complete insane quests, kill heroes, steal horses, fight guards, rob peasants, listen to some bard music, and much more! All packed in old-school gameplay style!”

The planned release for this title is February 18th on Steam. Developed by Jutsu Games, it had a closed beta in October and has apparently received good reviews. It’ll be interesting to see the final product and just how ridiculous it is going to be.
