PUBG Mobile 2 could be announced as early as next week, according to prominent data miner PUBG PlayerIGN. The reliable leaker revealed that the new game will be available on Android and iOS and will likely be announced during the ongoing PUBG Global Invitational.S 2021 event. PUBG Mobile was one of the main battle royale games, and the new title could assert Krafton’s dominance in the mobile gaming market. It is currently unknown whether the new title will be available in India, with the original PUBG Mobile title still being banned in the country. PUBGM2 was first dubbed Project XTRM, and PlayerIGN reported on January 6 that Krafton was indeed working on a sequel to the hugely popular PUBG Mobile. It’s unclear whether the next game will replace its predecessor or remain a standalone game with new game mechanics set in the future.

Will PUBGM2 be available in India?

PUBG Mobile has been banned in India because it was developed by Chinese developer Tencent and not by Krafton, the Korean studio behind PUBG PC. If PUBGM2 is fully developed by Krafton, a ban cannot be imposed on the next title. With no official announcement yet, Indian fans will have to wait and see if the next title will be available in India after PUBG Mobile was banned last year.
