Cyberpunk 2077 Fans were disappointed when CD Projekt Red removed the wall prior to the game’s launch. Like many other features, the developers scrapped parkour moves to make room for some design changes. Thankfully, thanks to a new fan mod, players can finally get the wall running moves they deserve. The work in progress mod is available to download now via Nexus Mods.

The mod’s creator, Saturne, cautioned that they are still working on it, so the walls may have a few bugs for now. “Don’t expect anything bad, it can barely be used at the moment, it’s more of a proof of concept for me,” read a disclaimer. However, at this time, users should be able to wall run through “95% of the walls” in Cyberpunk 2077. All it takes is a double jump near a wall to get around. To end a wall run, simply press the jump button one more time.

Recently, a patch fixed a bug where users not looking forward accidentally through walls, that’s good. However, there are still a few things to be aware of, including a “slim chance” that it will die when it falls off the wall. For now, you may want to stick to the slightly lower wall spans to avoid major damage from falls.

You can see a demonstration of Saturne Cyberpunk 2077 wall running mod below. The player can be seen gliding through a wall from one side to the other with a pretty decent speed.

A game demo in 2018 showed main character V running down a wall to perform a drop attack on enemies. Unfortunately, this deft sneak attack method didn’t make the final cut. Last summer, level designer Max Pears confirmed that the studio removed the walls for “design reasons.” Although the news disappointed fans, it may have been a good choice, considering all the mistakes that plagued Cyberpunk 2077. It is not known whether the laying of the wall would have worked properly.
