World of Warcraft Shadowlands is getting PvP World Quests

It looks like PvP Global Quests are making a comeback in the Shadowlands expansion for World of Warcraft. This is from Wowhead, who stumbled upon a quest in the beta that gives them the ability to kill players or skeletons to complete it.

The quest is called State of Decay and can be found in Maldraxxus. It’s about exploring a tower called The Spike, which is owned by quest giver Zo’Sorg. While you are in the tower you will have a debuff called Free For All which makes you hostile to your faction. Zo’Sorg is a new PvP provider that lends its name to the quests themselves, known as the Zo’Sorg Trials. Wowhead also notes that if you venture into the Shadowlands with War Mode enabled, you will come across new PvP world quests with Zo’Sorg in the area.

PvP Global Quests were a popular returning feature in Legion, as you could complete PvP objectives in free PvP areas. They haven’t returned for the Battle for Azeroth expansion, but it looks like they’re back, which is a good idea.

The WoW Shadowlands release date is not here yet, but the details of what it includes are slowly fading away. We know WoW’s corruption system will be removed in a Shadowlands pre-patch, and Horrific Visions, Island Expeditions, and Warfronts will still be playable.

Most important of all, however, is that there is a Witcher 3 Easter Egg in WoW Shadowlands. It involves going on a quest with a dandelion, and that sounds good.
